Kelly currently works at Fremont Unified School District as a Community School Coorinator. Community School grants from the state of California (CCSPP)- California Community Schools Partnership Program is a huge statewide initiative to bring transformation change to school communities with the most needist student group populations including students with disabilities and multilingual learners.
She acquired much of her educational experience working with education companies, including Pearson Education, as an educational consultant and manager and most recently, during COVID, as a manager at an online tutoring company.
In this line of work, Kelly served as a “change agent” working passionately with key district leaders to implement new and/or to improve educational programs, driven by assessment data, in order to make organizational district improvements.
Kelly has also dedicated her time in the philanthropy world:
She served as an Executive Director for Racing for Orphans with Down syndrome (RODS), a non profit dedicated to supporting the adoption of international orphans with Down syndrome.
She led to the creation of the Board of Directors and served as Board President for Reece’s Rainbow Adoption Support, a non profit dedicated to the adoption of orphans with special needs.
